Plein Air is hands down the best restaurant in Ridgewood. The café menu is excellent but the dinner service is truly special... and worth going out of your way to experience. The steak, the chicken, the ricotta dumplings - all delicious. They clearlysource their vegetables carefully as they are always super fresh. Came here for brunch today on a Sunday. Sunday dinner menu started at 3, so I was able to order off both menus. Heirloom tomato... sandwich had much more flavor than I expected it to, to be honest. Goat cheese omelette was delicious! And we ordered a dozenoysters to top off the meal. All in all, very good, and will be curious to return for dinner during the week sometime. Read more

I went here last night with my two friends and we had the most DELICIOUS dinner! We all ordered the steak and it was melt in... your mouth good…so well seasoned and perfectly cooked with a sauce that blew my mind . The cocktails were strong and so yummy(get the punch bowl! We have been coming in for coffee ever since Plein Air opened, but we finally stopped in for dinner. Wow! This is probably one... of the best meals we have had recently. The food was fresh, seasonal and tasty. So glad we finally ate here as we will beback! We tried the chicken, mushroom and Dumpling soup, Salad, Chicken liver, homemade soda, and homemade dessert with homemadeice cream. Everything was spectacular.
