This may have been my first first post-pre-post-pandemic visit. While you are working that out, let's order... The food was as... good as always, but the restaurant and service have gotten a little tired. The waiter had a habit of running off before youcould ask him questions, there was a long delay in part of our order without explanation, and the cup of hot tea he brought mewas tepid. When the meal was over we had to move the pandemic barrier by the exit to let ourselves out--is this that greatlabor shortage we've been hearing so much about that nobody wants to work anymore? The sushi rolls were as beautiful and tastyas ever, and a woman who freshened my tea with *hot* tea seemed much more interested in making sure the customers werecomfortable, so I'll give them a few more chances, but they really need to freshen up the restaurant -- and some of the staff! This place is terrible, I’ve never been to a sushi restaurant that tested this bad. The texture of the fishes was weird, very... squish. The dragon roll was suppose to come with eel inside, all I got inside was cucumber!!!! I didn’t even finish my food,and the server threw the check at us. Ridiculous! Read more
It was hot outside and my mom was craving some sushi rolls. So we ordered crazy dragon roll, salmon lover and Rock’n Roll... through Uber Eats. We didn’t like them at all, they just tasted off, for example, the salmon lover was very sweet and we couldbarely taste salmon (the color of the filling looked like salmon but it was definitely not salmon or not much salmon, itactually tasted like sweet potatoes). Same thing for Rock’n Roll. Crazy dragon roll was okay but the eel was very fishy andchewy (bad quality). We are very disappointed and we felt sick because of the sweetness, we’ve been to River multiple timesfor AYCE, and we never felt the quality of the food being so bad. Very nice little place to get the best rolls in town! Everything is fresh and you can taste it. We went back 4 days in a row... since we tried it the first time while working in the area. More impressively, the prices are just ridiculously low for thequality and presentation of the food. Can't wait to bring my kids, the love a good, tasty, fresh roll. Totally recommend! Read more
