Stopped here on my way through town. Ordered a double teen burger, got a single on one of the hardest buns I?ve ever eaten. I?m... typically driving around for work, and used to receiving receipts with my orders. From what I can tell, this is also companypolicy. This a&w did not give me a receipt either. We stopped here after a travelling very long and hot drive at about 5:15p.m. on June 28th. I wanted to sit inside after being... in the car for a long time. I noticed as I ordered that chairs were blocking both sides of the restaurant seating areas. WhenI got my food and asked where I could sit the clerk said I could not eat inside as they were cleaning! I asked If they wereclosing but she replied again they were cleaning. When asked what time they close she replied 10 o clock but they wanted to getthe cleaning done in case someone wanted to leave early. These were three young people working?and very argumentative. I knowit?s difficult these days to get staff but this gal definitely needs training in customer service. She was try8ng to turnpeople away to clean five hours before closing time! She told the next lady after me the same thing and when lady said she wastravelling and was going to sit..the gal told her?don?t get anything dirty or make a mess!? Manager?train your staff! I've never had to wait 20 minutes at opening time to order. Then be told by the disheveled looking employee, "look at that... order!" As he points to the only other order in the que, with 5 burgers, with mods. It is 5 burgers, it's 6 am, tell thatcustomer they will wait, and get to serving the guests. Employee said at 6:10 "I've got to run downstairs to change pop" either the night crew left this guy dry, or he git to work too late to be ready at opening time. Read more
