Ordered the Del Mar Al Plato and was so surprised. The seafood fried rice was so delicious and had hefty amounts of actual... seafood in it. It also came with ceviche and fried calamari(perfectly seasoned and tender) and the causa de tuna. It was a lotof food for a good price! Don?t forget the aji verde, the sauce makes it even more delicious! Read more

I?m a huge fan of Peruvian food , I was in the area looking for a good spot , I was reading reviews of this place and got my... attention . I decided to go , place wasn?t too crowded but they have a big demand on to go orders.. I understand that but Ithink they should give same priority for people who is actually at their spot . I put an order for a mixed ceviche but I waswaiting for more than 40 min probably ? didn?t want to leave cuz I had good expectation about that place but I was tired to bewaiting , people who got there after me putting a take out order got their meal before me ? that was basically what push me toleave !! Excellent customer service! I walked in to order takeout. First time there. Got something simple - salchipollo. It was delicious... - hot, fresh, fried well but not greasy. You can tell alot about a restaurant by how they treat their simple dishes. Thechicken was fresh-breaded and not frozen and the fries were fresh cut as well. I also got some alfajores which were delish! Whenit was taking longer than usual for my order to be ready, they sent over an empanada to keep me company while I waited lol. Thatwas delicious and my first time having a Peruvian empanada. Raisins inside were new to me but were delicious with the meat.Everyone working there was friendly, sweet, and courteous. The restaurant was spotless and decorated very well. I definitelywill be back with friends to dine in. Great addition to the downtown area! Read more
