Melao is a quirky town coffeeshop with great rolled icecream, funky seating, and good service. Staff seem to be very kind and... teenagers/young people from the neighborhood. Pastries seem fresh and there are juices available. They have a range of waffles,sandwiches, vegan options and so on. Seating is usually available. I?ve had iced coffees and frappes here which are more likedesserts and their coffee is decent but not stellar at all (Stellar is Blue Bottle or Abraco in NYC) but it?s a decent coffeenonetheless. Not many people mask here for safety and the hours are excellent for Rahway times since many businesses closeearly. Read more
