My second time going was decent to say. It was a Sunday evening around 7:30 p.m. when I was told by my friend Sundays or fun... days at this bowling alley. Somehow in the midst of the confusion and figure out who's paying for what what was supposed to betold to us at 3 99 a game turned out someone must have given us information incorrectly and our bill was almost 50 bucks for anhour and a half of playing which is almost the price of midnight bowling at Buffalo Lanes. The associate managing the returns ofshoes and new customers coming in calmly but frantically became upset when we were trying to ask why the numbers were incorrectand it turned into an all-out verbal shout out. Not sure how it all started or this individual just had a bad evening but beingin retail for over 15 years and customer service for the same time doesn't matter how mad you get, taking emotion and showingthe customer your butt per se, shows bad quality of a company when literally you can step away, breathe and take your mind back.The game was good but the arguments were not necessary when taking the higher road is the mission of every company no matter thesize. Regardless, this is way too freaking long. The staff is fantastic. Everybody's knowledgeable and friendly, but I think thegentleman needed another person there with him as a backboard or one of those stress balls in order to hold back the lashingout. Those moments can be an HR nightmare and employees career killer and that would not be okay. So I offer one suggestionwhich is a stress ball at their desks in the shape of a bowling ball. Read more

As far as bowling alleys go you can't beat this one. I used to go here when I was in high school and played competitively in... leagues and the lanes themselves are very good compared to other bowling alleys I've been too. It's a shame the bowling pro shopis no longer there, but what are you gonna do... Come after a certain time and they blacklight the place, plus will put on allthe sports games that seem relevant on the big screens at the end of the lane so you can multitask your attention! We love the AMF! Good lanes, good environment, decent food and music. The bowling alley has it's own little place to eat with a... walk up bar window. If you want to bowl in Raleigh I would highly recommend it. Read more

This was my first time visiting here. My wife and I enjoyed it. It was actually our first date in quite some time. Didn't think... I was going to have fun but I did. I will go back. You should check it out. It's sort of has a bar and they serve food. I didnot try the food but I did try their drinks. They were not bad for a bowling alley. Only bowling alley in the area I?ll go to! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially for those with special... needs. The building is always kept very clean, balls organized, and lanes in great condition. It?s huge too, so you can alwayscount on a lane open. These guys and gals are the best! ???? Read more
