This was our first time to Lafayette Village and it is adorable!! We went on a Friday night and Farina was the busiest place... there by far. We got there at 530 and was seated right away but by the time we left around 7 it was fully packed. The calamariis excellent and we enjoyed the meat/cheese board. The margarita pizza was so good, the dough was so soft - my kids never eatcrust but ate this. It was a bit floppy but the flavors and sweet sauce made up for it. The chicken parm was very good. My onlycomplaint is my kids got the kids meal spaghetti and it was $10 and it was just pasta & butter and didn’t come with anythingelse. Seemed a bit steep. (They still devoured it and wanted more though). The service was very good even when they were attheir busiest. We enjoyed our meal very much. Read more

Went on a Saturday evening and only had to wait about 10 minutes, which is no problem considering you're in the village. We... ordered some drinks which were all tasty after being outside in the heat. I ordered the Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms topped withchicken breast. It was absolutely delicious. I would recommend it to any mushroom lover. My family also ordered Chicken Parm andthe Bolognese. I was lucky to try both dishes before they were eaten up, and they were equally fresh, savory Italian dishes.Don't let the location fool you they do quality Italian, I can't wait to try the Pizza. This evening, my work team and I enjoyed the most amazing dinner at Farina restaurant. Our server was so attentive and made... sure, from beginning to end, that we had everything we needed and wanted. She definitely went above and beyond for us! Ourappetizers and main courses were delicious, hot, and served quickly and perfectly to a group of 10 - the servers who deliveredour main course never asked who ordered what - what we ordered was placed in front of us and everything was perfectly cooked.Dessert and cocktails were also totally on point. If there were 6 stars to give in a 5-star review, I'd give it to thisrestaurant! I regret that I don't remember our server's name so that I could give her a real shout-out but hopefully she willsee this and remember the group of 10 that she served wearing navy blue work scrubs early this evening. Thank you for the mostwonderful Italian dinner!!! Read more

Good. May try something different next time. Wish carbonara had less sauce and more cracked pepper. Meat could be chopped... smaller with a smaller portion, and cooked longer with salt. In the other dish, the gluten free pasta not cooked long enoughbut the chicken in the chicken parm was quite nice. I’ve heard the pizza is the best around so I’ll be back to try. Read more

It is quite apparent that this restaurant has quite a following. Unfortunately, if you want to make reservations, there are some... odd stipulations which I found makes planning ahead to dine here much less appealing. One thing you can count on is greatcustomer service, the front of the house, however, seems to be slightly behind in that area. The wine menu won't disappoint, andneither will the GRILLED CIABATTA BRUSCHETTA, the drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette really makes it standout above the rest. TheBRAISED SHORT RIBS is an entree I would highly recommend, well prepared short ribs blend perfectly with the Gnocchi, although Iam quite sure this Gnocchi smothered in the creamy Gorgonzola sauce would be great on its own. Great food and great company, and a ridiculous reservation policy, definitely worth a try. Cheers! Read more
