I usually come here when I am hungry for honey balls which are sooo good and cooked when you order. I also get their bowls... which are really good too! The only reason I come here when I want honey balls is because it is a distant from me and they arethe only place I know around to get the honey balls. Read more
The switch from Simple Greek to FRESKO Greek Kitchen has not brought about all good change to what I once considered a filling... "go to" for a healthy and delicious Greek meal. The facade has changed, luckily the flavor of the food has not, but less costsmuch more and the starters here are now posing as the entrees! So, we do what we always do right? Stand in line, order thebowl, rice, chicken, lettuce, blah, blah, blah. Although this is not chipotle, we are expecting that endless supply of freshingredients we would always observe at a chipotle, right? Not the scraps at the bottom of the pan. The five green bean halvesequate to a serving of green beans? This alone is hardly appealing and quite disappointing. Something is missing, the potatowedges they have provided in the past, apparently that favorite starch has been taken out of the equation, no longer offered. So here I sit with a half empty bowl. I've been looking for a new Greek spot to hit up that's more affordable than Taverna Agora downtown (also a great spot)! This... place is casual and reasonably priced. Their Greek fries were made fresh and were chefs kiss! Tzatziki was also great to add tothe bowl. Their bowl had fresh ingredients and was a build your own bowl (similar to Cava or Chipotle), but their lamb gyrowasn't hard on the edges (which is something common I've found when gyro sits or is crisped too much). The absolute best baklava I've ever tasted! I've had 2 Grubhub orders where I've purchased 6-8 baklava just to have as a dessert... for the week and trust me, I wouldn't spend $5 on a sweet unless it was worth it - this is definitely worth it!
