The sandwiches were fantastic. I got the smoked fish melt and the flavors in that that were amazing?Salty, tangy, sweet?so many... good things happening here. The burnt ends potato salad was also excellent! My wife got the Nassau county which was delicious aswell (though slightly heavy on the mustard). I?m sure the classic sandwiches are great too but definitely try some of their fun,unique combos. Read more
We had the smoked fish melt and the Italian. When the smoked fish was brought out, it wasn't what I was expecting and I didn't... expect to enjoy it. It had fish, cheese, and something like collards in vinegar. Somehow those flavors worked togetherperfectly! The vinegar cut through the richness of the other ingredients. We were also impressed by the Italian, which despiteits simplicity was far better than what you could get at a chain. Overall, unique delicious food served by a friendly owner. Read more
We walk our dog in person street, and have always wanted to go here. Glad we decided to. They are like a boutique deli, with a... unique selection of sandwiches. We loved what we got! The sides are a bit questionable, but I think we got the best ones. Pastasalad and chips. Only downside was limited seating and it took a long time for some simples sandwiches. Read more
Excellent dining experience with quality, full of flavor food. My wife and I shared the smoked fish sandwich, a bowl of soup... and the cucumber salad. All three items stood out as great part of the meal. Located inside the peace street pharmacy, thiswell run restaurant is a great place to meet a friend or just treat yourself. Read more

I had the chicken salad on rye with pasta salad today and it was a 10/10. Bread was evenly toasted, dressing was bright and... vinegary, cheese was rich- definitely high quality product- and the chicken was served in whole chunks. The pasta salad wasgreat- not so much bright. It was creamier, but definitely among the better pasta salads I've ever had. You can tell the food isthoughtfully made.
