Cute local place, great coffee and delicious food. Parking is tough downtown especially on the weekend so you have to keep that... in mind but it's great and reasonably priced. Lovely place to go upstairs, bring your computer and do work or study. Read more
I?ve lived here 25 years and I?ve been to every coffee shop in Raleigh. They make some of the best lattes you can get around... here. It?s a popular spot and gets busy in the mornings, so sometimes you can end up waiting 20 minutes if you order food. Thechicken biscuit is a great breakfast deal. If you?re visiting from out of town you should stop by and enjoy a coffee outside! Read more

Revised from 5 to 2 stars after we finally received our food: THE coffee shop to be in downtown Raleigh. Friendly staff, coffee... in actual mugs/cups for dine-in patrons and an extensive menu. Soooo disappointing: 20+ minute wait (before it go busy) forwhat looks and tastes like instant grits and powdered eggs (already cold as they say out forever while the other dish was made),plus a wrong second dish: French toast tastes like plain fried bread with a hint of cinnamon, no syrup, no Nutella as promised.This is such a lovely place and the menu reads great, but sadly only the coffee lives up to the promise. It is a cozy little place in downtown and this is my impression of visiting it for the first time. Ordered ice vanilla latte... with a egg sandwich added chicken on everything bagel. First off, the iced vanilla latte was creamy and delicious! I am pickywith my coffee drinks and this one seemed to be made the right way. It wasn't too milk or too sweet, just the right amount ofespresso, milk and ice. The everything bagel and egg sandwich with added chicken was also delicious! The upstairs dinning areawas nice and relaxing, would definitely be going there again for a bunch or break fast. Read more
