I?ve been on a search for a good Asian restaurant in the area. A few of my co-workers recommended here. I picked up the L2 lunch... combo: sesame chicken, fried rice and fried wontons and I also ordered some egg rolls. Chicken itself was meh. It had goodlarge pieces but the sauce was overly sweet. The fried rice was the worst part: it was mushy, and had an off flavor that I can?tput my finger on? but it also smelled strange so maybe the odor was due to it being expired??? I only ate 2 bites. The wontonshad almost zero cream cheese. And lastly the egg rolls, all though crunchy and large, they were filled 90% with carrots. Allthis for $20, and majority of it went in the trash. I have t had decent Chinese food until...Ginger Cafe. If you have been there before and weren't impressed, please give it... another chance. I did. My husband is a pretty "bland" eater. He chose their Chicken Chow Mein and said best he ever had. Ok, nottoo challenging hunny. I had their Orange Chicken with fried rice. Excellent, big moist chunks of breast meat. Just the rightamount of fresh orange taste and grated orange peel. We had cream cheese puff that had generous amounts of cheese not friedperfectly. Hubs also had an egg roll that he said was not dried out as most are. Very tasty. Long description, but needed it.They have remodeled inside and now have a large dining space which was immaculate. This place is absolutely amazing! I loved every meal I've ever had here. Nobody else even comes close! The hot wings are... fantastic, so full of flavor! Beef and broccoli, kung pao chicken, you name it. Its all made with the best ingredients and thepeople are very friendly. 5 stars isn't enough! Read more
