Rudy's has been an important part of Sacramento for decades. I would say that you haven't really experienced Sacramento without... going to Rudy's at least once. The atmosphere is warm with beautiful and unique artwork. The service is great. But mostimportantly the food is amazing. My friend and I came here to try the lobster roll based on a friend's recommendation and we weren't disappointed. I think it was... about $30 for the roll with a small basket of fries. The lobster was fresh, the roll was soft and the sauce was so good. We alsotried the prime rib sandwich and it wasn't as good as the lobster roll. Read more
I have been coming here for years. I love the fact that you can pick your lobster. I'm a huge fan of lobster and filet. Their... filet is always cooked to perfection as is the lobster. They are known for their prime rib and lobster. I prefer filet but theprime rib is amazing. I always order the escargot appetizer. Yum. They come in a small size heavy muffin type pan. They placethe escargot in a mushroom cap and season it to perfection. I love these. I had the lobster potstickers as well the last time Iwas here and they were really good. The calamari is excellent as well. Last year on my birthday I ordered the 14-16 oz. tail.Yep, tail. Big one. Wow. Impressive. It will cost you but you deserve it. Rudy's is always a treat, and Ron is the best waiter ever! My dad and I go every year for "birthday lobster" and get their 14/16... oz. tails.
