The State was a great place for a quick date night.. the indoor vibe and outside patio had an industrial decor which I really... enjoy because it seems to transport you to another city.. the food was great and the service was absolutely amazing.. theservers kept in contact with us without badgering. Randomly found this place after shopping for my girl at Victoria Gardens. This is consider a whiskey bar with the sheer amount... of whiskey they have on display. If you are a whiskey drinker this is the spot for you, I almost guaranteed they will have thekind of whiskey you enjoyed drinking. They have other liquor as well so if whiskey not your thing they can accommodate you. The atmosphere makes the experience that much better, it almost has that old fashioned whiskey vibe. They have Happy Hourspecials M-F 11-6pm with Tuesdays having $2.50 tacos which are delish. I recommend the seafood or Pork belly tacos. Each dayhave its own happy special happy hour item, with others items being being every day. They tell you in their menu. They have agood size bar, and if you a party of 2 or 1 I would sit there. You don?t have to worry about waiting, they have about 3 -4bartenders working back there to keep you hydrated and fed. The staff is friendly and they definitely know the regulars.
