I'm going to try and make this review as balanced as I possibly can. Firstly, the resort itself is lovely. It has the feeling... of being its own little oasis with many different styles of rooms and structures and winding, landscaped paths between them. Thestaff was extremely attentive and helpful, catering to our needs. There is a small 'town' there, but there are only a fewrestos and a coffee spot. it's 90% real-estate and financial services offices. A little boring in terms of experience, butthat's not the resorts fault, that's just a little background. A few quibbles, I know the resort changed ownership relativelyrecently, so take these with a grain of salt: - getting ahold of them could prove very hard. I was coming from Canada and oneday I called no less than 8 times and got no response. Sending emails gets a response that their 'Microsoft 365' email has notbeen set up, haha. - water pressure in the shower left something to be desired, you could see the rain heads were gettingclogged due to hard water. If you wake up expecting an invigorating shower, a low pressure affair is a little bit of alet-down. - they're been doing construction around the resort to upgrade it, and while we had a beautiful patio off our roomwith lounge chairs, the cushions were absolutely covered in concrete dust, rendering them largely unusable unless you put atowel down. These things may seem minor, but the place is quite 'spendy' so I expect things like that to be attended to. Read more

The worst customer service I have dealt with for an allegedly 4 star resort- the acting manager is setting the tone from the top... down. Three instances over our 48 hour stay. 1) They gave other folks activated key cards to our room- we were laying on the bedand complete strangers- other guests, not staff, unlocked our room and walked in. Can you imagine if we hadn?t been there andhad left computers etc out? We went to the front desk and were told ?I wish I could say this didn?t happen often?- no apology 2)We were there for a wedding and had noticed that other guests were having trouble getting Ubers booked from the hotel so wedecided to go to the front desk and ask them to arrange a taxi pick up for the morning- which they did. The driver arrived ontime but in an unmarked car (not a usual cab) but we figured this was a trusted hotel source since the hotel booked it. Wearrived at the airport and we?re charged $110 from the driver- absolutely insane. For comparison the Uber from the airport theday before had been under $30. After calling the hotel to warn them about this- they were utterly dismissive, unhelpful andwouldn?t even acknowledge their mistake or offer any solutions to remedy the situation. They just tried to argued that theirhotel would never have helped a guest book a cab- not helpful and not able to take responsibility. This interaction took placewith their manager and so if that?s the service from the top down- good luck 3) As mentioned, we were staying for a wedding. When I initially called six weeks in advance of the wedding I was told the block was sold out and there were no reservationsleft at all- either inside or outside the block. They promised they would give me a call if anything opened up. Long storyshort, they were so unhelpful, did not call me back and then after we arrived for the Friday night welcome party, we were toldthere were plenty of rooms available, inside the wedding block no less. The fairmont was so gracious and allow Read more

This venue has a nice balance of being quaint yet luxurious at the same time. My team Dj'd a wedding there and everyone at the... venue was very helpful, not just how they attended me but how they attended the guests as well. Read more

Looking for a nice place for a couple of days relaxation. This is the place! Beautiful surroundings Mission style Hotel in the... Country. Accommodations were exquisite. Private deck off the room. Quiet surroundings with paths leading to the different units, depending on your choice. The Morada restaurant located on the premises offered a varied menu of delicious meals. Breakfastwith a beautiful view of some of the landscape was relaxing. Appetizers and cocktails along with dinner inside a cozysurrounding, finishes the evening. We also met Antonio, the head Chef giving us an inside scoop of the delicious flatbreadappetizer! Only thing better than that was our server Tarin! Read more

We didn?t stay. I wanted to comment on the food in the restaurant. Over the last few years the quality has deteriorated. It?s... such a lovely spot for lunch or cocktails but food isn?t so good these days. Being a vegan, I don?t have many options. Now theone truly vegan dish is bland and has terrible rice. My husband orders other things but most have been somewhat disappointing.Hopefully the new ownership will get it back to its old standards! Read more
