Went to Five Pillars last night as "date night". Yikes! Children running through the dining area screaming should have been an... indication that the dining experience to come was not going to be good. Food was awful. We hadn't been here for a couple of years. If there hadn't been cars in the parking lot, I would have thought it was an... abandoned building. Parking lot full of weeds as well as the entrance was overgrown. Upon entering the bar area, the carpet wasblack in the traffic area. We had reservations & were seat right away. We understand places are short staffed so we werepatient. While waiting @ our window table, it was quite apparent that the windows had not been washed in years, the railingoutside was thick in bird droppings as was the deck. The gutters of the adjoining building were packed full. Our server was kindbut certainly overwhelmed. Food was ok but I'm wondering what the kitchen looks like given the state of the building inside &out. Sadly, I know Five Pillars has been around for a long time but we will not be back nor would I recommend. Read more
Good food, sufficient options, friendly and timely service. Pricing seemed comparable to other places, I'll go back.
