My husband and I went out on a special occasion dinner and our experience all around was absolutely fantastic! Besides the... unique dining options ,e.g. Beef Wellington, which you can't even find anywhere else in Rapid, the menu offers something foreveryone. The flourless chocolate tart was to die for. I was blown away by the exquisite wine selection. WOW! There were morefabulous wines to choose from than in some of the elite restaurants in big cities. All in all this restaurant & wine bar is atrue find! Our great experience was topped by the incredibly attentive and friendly server, Rachel, and Christy, the owner, whois so sincere and truly caring about her customer service. Excellent risotto, salmon was overcooked. Chicken pot pie was delicious as was beet salad although dressing was a little too... tart. Service was uneven, empty plates sat for a long time, and very little help with the menu. Hostess was rather unfriendlyand restaurant was incredibly noisy. Read more

The food is absolutely wonderful in both presentation and quality. The service is a perfect combination ofprofessionalism and personal hospitality. This is mine and my boyfriends absolute favorite gem in Rapid City! I almost didn?t leave a review to keep this place to myself,... but these guys and gals deserve all the praises. From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, Wine Cellar is top notch.
