Used to be 5 star for me, food went downhill the last two times I went. The guacamole actually tasted like they added oil or... something, I was so surprised I used to love this place. Additionally, they no longer let you mix and match tacos or pick theamount you want, you can only get 3 and they must all be the same. For someone like me who prefers to eat 4 tacos as a meal andnot fill up on chips, this is very annoying. If the food goes back to being great again, I?ll edit my review back to 5 starslike it used to be. Read more

Overall a good experience. Great staff, delicious food. Nothing really stuck out to me regarding the Mexican food- the pastor... tacos were juicy and seasoned well but just marinated cubes(not the style where they carve it off the roaster) and they don?tserve complimentary chips with salsa (other places do. I thought they did years ago) Solid seafood caldo as well- $23 and veryfilling. My mom was delighted to see the imitation crab meat (an Asian staple) in her soup, along with real clams, fish, etc Read more

Let me start by saying that when the food is good this is hands down the best authentic Mexican food you'll get in the area.... I've eaten take out and dine in it has been a hit more often than a miss so it's definetely worth a try. Having said that, thislast time I came in the food was absolutely wonderful so compliments to the chef. The server was a bit nervous taking our ordersfor some reason but that's understandable. What was strange was that I was charged every time I was given a refill of soda waterwhich when you're having a full meal (2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts) you're going to be drinking a lot of liquid. Inmy experience you pay once for Seltzer and refills are free. On top of this we could plainly see the desserts we ordered weretaken out of the fridge in the take out area and plated so it was obvious that had been sitting in there since the morning andtasted store bought but not horrible. All of this was forgivable since the apps and main courses were mouthwateringlydelicious. However when the bill came we noticed that a gratuity charge was added. I have never in my whole life seen an addedgratuity for a table of 2. This was around 9pm on a Monday and my girl and were quite tired so we paid the bill exactly as wascharged and not a penny more and didn't make a fuss. So between charging for refills and adding gratuity we were not happy. Theonly reason we're giving 4 stars is because the food out of the kitchen made our night. Read more

Generally speaking, this is definitely an authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant, although I?ve realized over the years I?ve been... going; there are a few things on the menu not worth paying attention to due to their own lack of resources for whatever reason. One thing particularly is the ?steak fajitas? for some reason they used ground beef??? But the chicken fajitas are to die for.Honestly, anything that is cooked with chicken seems to be great in this restaurant. My favorite and go-to dish is the ChickenTacos. The salsa and guacamole are above average and the tortilla chips are decent but cooked a little too crispy. The verdesalsa is phenomenal along with their hotter red salsa. Disclaimer : the bartenders make strong drinks here. The service lacksa little bit sometimes because of the language barrier unless you speak Spanish, and when the place is packed sometimes. I?velearned of the years though that the bartender/server girls are very nice nonetheless. This is one of the better Mexicanrestaurants I?ve been to, and definitely among the best in the chicken taco category. I give them a solid 4 with roof forimprovement to become a 5. Read more
