Good diner food. I had the turkey BLT sandwich special with fries and potato soup, a terrific value! The turkey is oven roasted... breasts that they roast in house and is thick cut, it was served on a nice role with your normal BLT accompaniment. The potatosoup was thick and luscious! Environment was clean and service staff were attentive and polite! We'll be back! Read more
Was my favorite diner till today. Got seated, waited a while. Nobody wanted to be our server. It appears it's more important to... straighten out ketchup bottles then take our order. The menu changed, very disappointing. No more 61 special. Now if you wanteggs, they are $4.79 each!! I could buy an 18 egg carton for that! Breakfast would have cost me $20+ rather than the usual $8.No worries, you didn't feel the need to take my order anyway. Drove up the street to Crossroads and got my Breakfast Specialand actually very nice service in a very clean and comfortable atmosphere! Goodbye 61 Diner! Read more
Absolutely delicious. Was driving by and decided to go in. Very expansive menu; if you have trouble finding something to eat you... must have a problem... Service was good and the prices were reasonable. I got one of the Friday night dinner specials and wassurprised how much food I got for my money. I have already recommended this place to friends. Enjoyed breakfast with a young friend; and a fellow Veteran. The food was excellent and our Hostess seated us at Table 35,... directly next to Old Glory. We were thanked graciously for our Service...we, in kind, Thanked our Hostess for serving us. Wewill definitely visit again. Read more

The staff and waitresses here work really hard to make sure everyone gets their food in a timely manner and in its correct form.... I never had a bad experience coming to this diner and I?ve been coming here for many years since it?s so close by to where Ilive(d). Everyone is always so friendly and the menu has tons of options. Salad bar is never disappointing. They have a homemaderice pudding recipe they used for the rice pudding so I recommend trying it, it?s pretty good. It?s too bad with this dinersuffering from being understaffed because it puts a lot on the kind waitresses there. Remember to tip your waitresses if yourservice was good! ?? Read more
