Super great place for local hamburgers and other great menu items. I had the chili and it was Texas style. When they said... ?chili,? they didn?t ask, ?Red or Green.? Besides hamburgers and chili, they also had catfish. That is what my son ordered andhe loved it. The place was crowded, but that was to be expected since we were there for the Red River Family Encampment? whichmeans there were tons of people there as well. They had take-out if we wanted to take the food back to our condo? but sincethere were only two of us, we found a seat. Lucky us! Shotgun Willie?s is our favorite place to eat whenever we are in Red River. Don?t let the long lines fool you?the line moves... fast. We love the Willie?s breakfast: 2 eggs any way, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy and a drink for $10. Weare fans of the lunch menu here, too. Small but mighty! We came here for lunch because everything else in town, according to Google, is closed on Wednesdays. We loved... the food! Portions were large; ladies you might want to split a meal with a friend. I had the loaded fries with choppedbrisket, my husband had the loaded potato with chopped brisket, our son had the chicken strips with french fries and a sideorder of tater tots. Not a large place but the folks seemed to really liked it. Good line that moved fairly quickly. Basic meals but good tasting. My... group had the Turkey and Chicken Fajita wraps, chicken finger platter, cheesy tots, and chili cheese fries. Had to try thisplace after walking by in the early morning and smelling their smoker. The breakfast food was delicious! 5 stars for the food!! The first morning we went the staff was friendly, and because of a meat... allergy (alpha-gal) we asked for no meat in my burrito but on the side. It was explained it would come in a smallcontainer-which was fine. She also asked if we were new and explained how to get coffee, utensils, etc. We went back the nextday (because so delicious) and the lady taking our order was very rude and condescending when we asked for the same order and tohave the meat on the side. Therefore the two stars. I realize I?m the one with the allergy, but when asking for it on the sidemy husband and I use it as an opportunity for him to try different meats to know what to order the next time.
