One of the nicest brunch places I?ve been to in RD. Food is tasty and portions were average. Around 10:30, there was a 20-30... minute wait for dine-in. No space to sit and wait; I could see this being a problem in the winter. Unfortunately they don?t eventake reservations for groups smaller than 5 or 6, from what I overheard the manager explain to another party. Best bet is to goearly, but still anticipate some wait time, especially on a weekend! Read more
Such a cute little diner! Old school retro vibe. Fantastic food! The chef hand delivers your food and checks on you. Would... highly recommend this place! I have to change my rating to a 3. I was raving so much about this place, I had to take my bestfriend and her mom. The place was very busy just after 9, we had to wait for a table - no problem. No one greeted us for a fewminutes. There was no where to sit while waiting and we were just standing at the door. My friend's mom had a knee brace and hadno where to sit down. We get seated and order some drinks which came quickly. We ordered food and it took over 40 minutes toarrive. Again, it was busy - but the place isn't THAT large. Then when it did arrive it was cold. My friend's mom's french toastwas burnt and had no maple syrup on it. She sent it back and it was correct and perfect the second time. I'm super disappointed,although the food tasted amazing!!! The service was not great. A complete 360 from the week before when I visited. Mind you Ihad visited at 8am last time and there was no rush. Still want to give this place another chance. It was a tiny bit confusing trying to get here, but well worth the hassle. Prompt service, coffee(good coffee) was never empty.... Food came out fast and hot and was fabulous. Eggs Benedict comes highly recommended by me. High quality eggs cooked to a perfectmedium poach. I also got to enjoy a bite(she wouldnt share more lol) of the ricotta cheese and berries crepe. Overall breakfast was pretty good. We will return for sure. The hollandaise was a bit thin, the coffee was a bit bleck (too dark... but not actually robust tasting), the music was off putting (more nightclub less 9am brunch). The positives are a great menuwith lots of options. The rosemary potatoes were super yummy. Next time I will get my lobster Benny on an English muffin insteadis the hash patty.
