A nice pitstop to break up your drive. The interior was spacious and clean and the staff are friendly. $20 for a dozen donuts.... The flavours were nice but the donuts lean a little towards the dry side (the cake ones, at least), so they weren?t ourfavourites. Read more
A great pit stop to make if you?re travelling between Edmonton and Calgary and are craving something sweet or savoury! They... have a wide range of donut flavours and some hot foods like soup, sandwiches and subs. We got a dozen donuts for $22 and acream of potato soup. The soup was very good and had a healthy amount of potatoes and bacon. We tried the honey dip donut whichwas lightly glazed and not too sweet. The donut was fluffy and a little chewy. Stopped here for a quick food stop and gas, quite disappointed to see that theres chicken noodle soup on their soup of the day... sign but when I ordered they said it wasn?t available. Their donuts have a cakey texture but we only ordered two. Maybe otherflavours would have a different texture? The staff were nice and friendly! The place is cozy and giving diner vibes. They are good donuts but I prefer less sweet than this. I use to go Take 5 in Edmonton and you can compare this donut with Take... 5 of level of sweetness then you will understand what I taking about. The bread of donut is moisture and soft, feel like highquality of cake, not bad at all but still I think Take 5 is a bit better for donut feels. Happy we try them out though but Idon?t think I will come back but don?t get me wrong, The donut mill is good donut, I just prefer my own taste for Take 5Edmonton. 4 stars because they are good donuts and clean nice cozy place.
