DO NOT eat here if you are gluten intolerant! I told the waiter at least three times before he brought my meal that I was highly... sensitive to gluten and needed to make sure that my meal was gluten-free. I was halfway through the meal and realized that therice actually had wheat pasta in it. Fortunately my reaction to it did not put me in the hospital – only severe stomachcramps. The waiter did not seem to understand exactly what gluten is and obviously the chef didn’t either. I’m surprise thatany nice (and fairly pricy) restaurant trying to make a good reputation would be so ignorant of the problem. They did apologizebut we will not be going there again. Read more

My daughter and I split an appetizer. It was large pieces of artichoke & chicken on Brie cheese on toasted Crostini's, with... artichoke Aoli sauce spread across the top! So tasty and perfect! (Forgot to take photo before we dug in!) Bonnie B. Read more

Decided to try a new place for our wedding day dinner. I'm honestly sad, I was hoping this place would be the place we went to... every year. We both got steaks hers was fine. I do not know what went wrong with mine but it was enough to make me never wantbeef again. They did offer us some desert for the trouble. It was very nice of them, but does not make it easier dealing withthe awkward evening. I can't make dinner out of a cake. Honestly so let down and disappointed I'm hoping its not a memory thatstays with the day. Read more

It's a nice environment, wait staff was great. The steak was cooked medium-raw, not medium-well. The steak salad was a much... better meal for less. Read more

Been about 4 years since I last visited here, stopped in for lunch. We ordered the hot pastrami sandwich, which was good. Also... ordered a burger with fried egg and some modifications. The burger came out with a burned egg, yolk solid and dry. The burgerpatty was flat, thin, overcooked and dry, with no flavor. Asked for mayo and mustard instead of fry sauce on the burger. Wastold the kitchen would not put this on, I would have to do it myself. The piece of “lettuce “ that came on it was literallythe bottom section of the core of an iceberg head. For a supposedly “upscale “ restaurant, and at $18 for a burger, I wouldexpect the cooks to be capable of applying mayo and mustard without customer assistance. The onion rings were burned as well, and all stuck together. Upon asking to speak to the manager, I told her I was not paying for the burger, I only ate 3 smallbites to see if it was good. She didn’t say a word, no apology, no offer to rectify the situation, she simply snatched up myplate and walked away. I left hungry and disappointed. Our server Veronica however was attentive and provided great service.Perhaps a fluke? Not sure if I’ll be back. Read more
