Sweeties is a quaint place to enjoy a good breakfast with a bit of nostalgic feel to it. My wife and I ordered omelet that is... huge with hash browns. I felt my veggie omelet was good but my wife felt hers had way too much cheese. It actually did have wayto much cheese. Not saying cheese is not good, however it does have ots limitations. I have lived in Redding for more than 30 years and I can't believe I have never eating here before! The food is incredible the... service was spot on and this has to be one of the cleanest restraints in Shasta County Best bang for your buck here! Sad to say but my breakfast yesterday was nothing to brag about. My waitress was great but the food my omelets with hash brown... horrible When I first saw the hash browns come to my table they looked extra crunchy as I ordered but I did not realize the oilused to cook them was at least a day if not 2 days old or at least it tasted that way. Did not bother ordering anymore as Ididn't want them to have to redo all the oil trays but I should have. I'm one not to complain about food that often. Theomelet had onions in the salsa that was not listed on the menu and I had explicitly said I can't eat onions. Most peoplewouldn't care with the salsa in there but it should be listed on the menu. Bathroom we're kind of clean but supplies weremissing. Sorry to say I won't be eating there for a long time so I hope they still take my advice to heart But Tabasco saucewhich I normally eat at restaurants was a strained creamy red color not the Tabasco color you would normally get in a bottle ofTabasco so I don't know what they put in there. -Mitch Read more
