Friendly and welcoming staff! I love to eat here. The wait for food is never long and it's always delicious. They serve tortilla... chips and dip as free appetizers which are fresh and crunchy. They make wonderful margaritas of all varieties, including virginones. They do have an airlock like entrance though which could possibly be difficult for wheelchair-users or othermobility-impaired people. There's both booth and table seating as well as lots of window access. The overall atmosphere is warmand great for families. Read more
We ordered the chicken al a crema dish to share. It was excellent. The warm chips, salsa, and bean dip were the best I had!... However, we asked for extra tacos (with our order)which we did not receive. With our plans for the day and other food optionsfigured out for later, most of us just needed a quick bite to hold us out until then. The waiter was a bit disappointed with howlittle we ordered. And I felt like it was a bother to ask each time for more chips, salsa, or tacos. We only asked for one andjust finished up eating. I wish we could have gotten the two extra tortillas and had an opportunity to pay for additionalnon-complimentary chips, salsa, and bean deep. We ordered the Ixtapa Parrillada for 2 for pick-up tonight for the first time. Ready and hot in 15 minutes. It was outstanding,... with lots of variety and all the extras included! The two of us had plenty and there's enough for my husband's lunch tomorrow.We'll be ordering this again, for sure. Read more
I've been coming to this place with friends and family since they first opened. The food, drinks and hospitality are always... great. Their chips and salsa are the best I've had, and they usually provide been dip as well. The salsa is the perfect mix ofchunky. I prefer it to the thin stuff at other places. Be warned though, it is not mild. Compared to store bought, this would bemedium-hot. If you can handle it, this seemingly fresh-made stuff is flavorful! I’ve tried going 3 times and they mess my order up everytime. And the chicken that was supposed to be beef tastes like canned... chicken. Made me think about cat food. Don’t waste your money. Or Don’t waste your time having to return it. Overpriced catfood. And the whipped cream isn’t whipped either(I live a 1 minute walk away it definitely did not have time to melt in theIcey weather). And the “taco salad” shows as a platter of authentic Mexican tacos on DoorDash but it’s a tostada bowl withflavorless meat lettuce and cheddar cheese. Not a piece of cilantro in sight. Edit: i Cannot stop thinking about how racist itis to scam people in that style and maybe I’m frustrated but to call it Mexican is a plain lie. People who eat tacos bewarned. Read more
