Happy Hour!! A friend suggested we stop in for a quick drink. We had wine (sorry no drink review) only because we had to go be... with kids so kept it mellow! I was also able to talk my friend into some snacks. I love Imperial Rolls! My most favorite arefrom Slanted Door in San Francisco (I'm a new transplant from SF) THESE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I'm so happy to have a new place toreplace Slanted Door in the south bay!! Also, order the pork rinds, the portion is huge! I know I'm still adjusting to theprices here vs SF but the portion of rinds would have been $18 in SF. I brought the left overs home. We only had an hour so weare bringing friends back on Friday to have a full dinner experience with cocktails! to be continued..... Shout out to thestaff!!! Travis and Meredith were so friendly and welcoming. See you guys Friday! Read more

Found this restaurant through travelzoo. And wow! Everything is so delicious!!! And the way food is served....mmmm a masterpiece... every time! I'd definitely eavh here again! There isn't all that many vegetarian oprions, the majority of dishes contain eitherpork or chicken, but as a pescatarian I was able to enjoy my dinner. I wasn't able to find any menu with prices anywherebeforehand, so I'm attaching the pics I took of the menu. Hope it helps. Read more

Great food (modern twist on Asian dishes or “Asian fusion”) - from the plating to the taste and sauces, everything was great... and reasonably priced too. Well, we just had appetizers and drinks. Speaking of drinks, they were good too. They have quite afew beers and cocktails to choose from. The service was great too, they make sure every table is served and the servers check onyou regularly to make sure you are satisfied with everything. This will be added to my list of places for special occasions. Read more

Behind Little Sister restaurant, there was a very inspiring story about its founder- Chef Tin. He single handily created the... fusion Vietnamese restaurant chains and started Southeast Asian culinary trend in greater LA. Chef Tin’s food as he describedin an interview, is about family. He created dishes that resembling what he used to eat at home with family. After seeing somany good reviews from some of the most prominent Yelpers, I decided to drive to Redondo beach to try out their food. Comingfrom the SGV where there are so many outstanding Vietnamese restaurants, I had high expectations as Chef Tin was also from theSGV. I expected the food would be miles better than what I used to here in our neighborhood. The first impression when weentered the restaurant was good. The decoration brought its patrons back to the colonial era with heavy French influences. Lovethe vibes with the big French windows and the long bars associated with a typical colonial restaurant in Vietnam. However, thefood felt far short of my expectation. Despite its claim to be an improvement from SGV Vietnamese food, the fusion versionoffered here totally messed up the original Vietnamese flavor which should be aromatic and light. The food here, in order tocater to American taste, is very heavily seasoned and not much of the aroma typically emanates from the herbs. With the price 2times more than the SGV restaurants, I expected a better Vietnamese food experiences. But I have to say the Banh Xeo was verygood. I liked the crispy skins and the mixed of the veggies and prawns. I think mungbean was missing from the ingredients ofthis dish. I hope they have better foods in their other restaurants. Maybe the foods in their downtown LA one have bettertaste. We will try that locate next time. Read more

Such a delightful restaurant, with impeccable service. Stephanie was so helpful and friendly, and guided our group through... dining. She made sure to take into account aversions and allergies, and led us through an amazing experience. The food portionsfelt larger than a previous visit - which, if that's the case is amazing in this smaller portion, higher price trend that isflowing through the restaurant industry amidst supply chain issues. Each dish was wonderfully crafted, and everyone had adifferent favorite, and we would order each dish again. I highly recommend Little Sister to anyone looking for a nice getawayand upscale Asian cuisine. Read more
