Shout out to Bonnie who gave my best friend and I a history filled tasting on Barra Wines! We were staying nearby and had a... bottle of Barra Cab at dinner the prior night so I knew I had to check this place out. Bonnie was exceptional in explaining thetwo labels and history. We loved the beautiful 70's architecture tasting room, wines at affordable price points and loved thedessert wine with chocolate pairing. Would definitely join if I was a local and would come back to enjoy their wines in aheartbeat! Read more
The wine is great but the service I received was horrible. I didn?t catch the name, but a older, robust, bald man with glasses... served me when I arrived. I went in for a wine tasting but he was pretty rude. I was by myself and he said ?that?s so sad? andproceeded to ask the couple next to me ?if they ever would do something like that? and laughed ?! Ive been wine tasting bymyself before because it gives me the chance to talk more about the wine with the steward. But he made me feel so embarrassedand upset so I just bought a bottle and left?. Very disappointing because I don?t get the chance to come out to this wineryoften and was really looking forward to it. The experience really turned me off and I will look for other wineries when I visitthe area. Read more
