I don't go to Coney Island Poutine often because we live on the complete opposite end of the city, but I stopped by yesterday as... part of a birthday trip around the city visiting local shops with deals and was not disappointed! I got a free poutine for mybirthday, and asked if I could get the fries separately so that I could heat everything up today and not have them be soggy, andI had expected just two containers for the toppings and the fries, but opened up the bag to see perfectly portioned containersof every ingredient! It was perfect for re-heating and the poutine of course did not disappoint :) The restaurant itself ofcourse is amazing to match! It has a lot of options and delicious things on the menu, the staff was super friendly and servicewas quick for my order. I highly recommend going and I'm definitely going to make more trips to their shop in the future! Read more
Decent prices and big portion sizes. Lots of menu items to choose from. Sad to say that the fries in our poutines were over... saturated with grease and tasted old as well. The toppings on the poutines were good though (Perogie poutine and pulled porkpoutine). Won?t be going back because of the fries. The dude at the register was really nice though. Read more
We had a going away lunch for one of our co-workers today and a bill for over 200$ covering 10 people. Everything was PERFECT! ... The girl who served is was very friendly and I was really impressed with how everything was ready when we arrived at thescheduled time & she was just packing up the last bag, and it was all still fresh when we got it back to our office. I?ll be honest, I don?t even really like poutines. I wasn?t overly looking forward to coming here but I had to give it a shot... because of all the hype. I LOVED it!! So many choices (almost too many, makes it very hard to pick) and such a great value;there is SO much food, no one at our table could even finish their meals, seriously (Mmm, leftovers). Everything was delicious,even the burgers. I can?t wait to go back. P.S. Coney Island rekindled my love for milkshakes. Read more
