Alright, so, this restaurant is better than the average chain, but not by much. The cocktails are very good, and easily the best... feature of the restaurant. Also their Calamari may be the best in the city. The aesthetic is a jack of all trades, which makessense given the location and market it's trying to attract. Three major complaints. 1. I ordered one of their signatureburgers, the Made Man, and what I got was presented very well, but was a logistical disaster. The burger was at least 2-to-3times the vertical width of my mouth. What proceeded, even after cutting the burger in two, was a sloppy disgusting mess. Theburger tasted good, but I don't believe there is a single person on earth who could eat this without making a morass of it. Imight just be some bougie idiot, but when a burger arrives that I know is trying VERY hard to be 'a good deal' I am unimpressed. The burgers I cook at home may not taste quite as good, but at least they fit in my mouth. The whole problem could be easilysolved by making a burger with a smaller width to height ratio. As it stands I will never order a burger from this restaurantagain. 2. My partner ordered the Buffalo Poutine and received a dish with a massive pile of Jalapenos integrated into theplate. Jalapenos were not listed as an ingredient in the dish and my partner is not spice tolerant. Jalapenos should have beenlisted as an ingredient.. 3. Pricing is outrageous for the quality of food. $20 for Chana Masala, a dish which is literallychickpeas, spices and a little bit of ghee is ridiculous. The Hotel Sask would have been cheaper for what we had. Read more

People rave about the food, but I don't get it. The food may have been good in its day, but not really anything special anymore.... I am not sure if anyone under 50 even remembers this place, let alone frequent it. Save your caloric intake for somewherecheaper or better. Read more

Always a solid, "classic" meal choice, with a nice atmosphere. Things like steak, chicken, etc. with a side. The Sunday brunch... is a favourite. Definitely worth putting into your rotation, especially if you want to avoid what comes with a chain. Read more

Par/sub-par food with higher than normal prices. If you want to impress someone by paying top dollar for a meal, go somewhere... else. If you want to impress someone with good food, this is not the place either. People rave about the pizza, but I foundthe sauce lacking in flavor and toppings were sparse (not even a full layer of ham on a Ham & Pineapple). Price for the pizzawas about par for other 'Pizza' places. Fellow eater had the Baked Fettuccine which had the wrong flavour... (instead of beinga proper cream sauce, it had almost a chicken stock base??) $19 is a pretty steep for something that does not hit it'smark. Bar menu is only for Lounge goers' Read more
