Excellant from start to finish. We were served promptly and courteously. The chicken tacos and in house made chili were... delicious. The fresh chips were light and fluffy like my friend's grandmother made. Drinks were well balanced. Our waiter wasNelson and he was great. Check was timely. Read more
As someone who lives in Rehoboth locally I was excited to hear about El Jefe opening, a Mexican place within walking distance of... me that's a little less expensive then Dos Locos. I've been at least 5 times so far and it's a pretty good place. My biggestcomplaint so far is the tacos are just absolutely dripping with grease. The first night I went in the first week they opened thetacos were perfect but every subsequent visit the tacos have caused a small waterfall of grease to pool all over my plate everytime I lift it to my mouth, I even got a pimple last time! The Big Oyster beer is a plus for me , the service is friendly, Ithink they just need a little more time to hit their stride. My girlfriend ordered the chicken enchiladas last time and saidthey didn't really have flavor at all. I'm really rooting for this place, some small fixes to their menu and kitchen would go along way. Otherwise when Agave finally moves in to Rehoboth they might find themselves hurting. Read more
I am extremely unhappy with this establishment. First of I ordered a club soda with lime and it had some brown trash floating in... it. I asked my server what it was and she didn't give me an answer. The only response I received was the smile she gave when shetook the dirty cup away. The manager did not respond to my request for the check. I will not return horrible experience. Choosewisely. Great atmosphere and incredible wait staff. Best food you can get in downtown reho. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful, and... happy hour is seriously cheap. The management is superb and the food we ordered was beyond fabulous. Recommending to all myfriends + family coming down for the summer. Read more
