I will start by saying I have worked in the food service industry for years prior to this. We come to Rehobeth every year for... our anniversary and come to this coffee shop. We were relaxed and were ready to have a good morning. The coffee shop was busybut multiple people were together (couples waiting for their orders). We approached the counter eventually after waiting in linefor about 10 minutes. The man asked my wife what she wanted, she answered, and then he asked me. I said I was just waiting formy wife and he immediately asked me to wait outside in the heat. I feel this was extremely disrespectful, as we were on vacationfor our anniversary, and on a vacation, you obviously are always on the lookout for pickpockets etc, and myself coming from alaw enforcement background, am always proactive and constantly try to be aware of my surroundings. I gave no argument, andsimply went outside feeling disrespected. I will never return to this coffee shop ever again, no matter how good people thinkthis place is. Respect goes a long way, and the man at the counter lost that respect with me that day. Good luck with yourbusiness, you wont have it long running it like that. Read more
Their coffee is great though their bagel with cream cheese is anemic. That is not even a smear of crème cheese. Will get bagels... elsewhere from now on. Read more
Food and coffee was okay but the staff was incredibly rude. The person at the register insisted that the ?fresh vegetable... avocado toast? did not in fact have fresh vegetables but only vegetable seasoning. She argued with my friend and was rude inresponse to any questions she was asked. Later, the chef told us that the toast did come with vegetables and the woman whoargued with us was wrong. She then proceeded to yell at the chef for giving her fresh tomatoes while we were still standingthere. They also served my coffee in a cup that was completely cracked down the side. Later, when we were sitting and eating,one of the staff looked at us and said ?why are you staring at me, damn? and then slammed a door in our faces. Over a half an hour to order and receive a cold brew coffee!! Don?t come here unless you have plenty of time to waste! I should... add that what other reviewers have said about the owner is true. He pushed his way through the line of 10 or so people thatwent back to the door after I had been waiting for about 10 minutes and went straight behind the counter. He got himself adrink and talked to the employees for about 5 minutes and then pushed through the line and left stating something like, beingowner has its perks. Great small coffee shop located in an alley way right off of the Rehoboth Ave main drag. They have inside seating but it's nice... to sit in French bistro style seating outside. Super friendly staff, just nice to mingle with friendly customers and locals .**I must say, they have Best hot chocolate ever**, ordered the Mexican Cocoa.. you can taste a hint of spiciness and just a tadsweet. 2nd time there will return.
