Stopped by for lunch on our way to Lexington KY from Northwest Indiana. What a wonderful surprise! The homemade beef barley soup... was delicious and my salad topped with grilled chicken was so tasty and fresh! Service was fast and friendly! Read more

Located just a couple of miles off the expressway in Remington, this is an excellent alternative to fast food. Had the pork... tenderloin and it was HUGE. Food was tasty and service was friendly. I always appreciate a restaurant which offers Red Goldketchup (yes, there is a difference)! Restaurant looks to be a local fave. I'm a truck driver that refuses to eat fast food. I always try to find a local restaurant to support. Often times I am treated... as an outsider and with the way most employees are anymore it ain't like eating out use to be. Not the case at this place. I hada great meal and everyone there was extremely friendly. I walked 1.8miles to get there but the owner made me accept a ride backto my truck by him personally.
