First time at 101 Taiwanese. What made me to try their fare was a several months long craving for braised and crispy styles of... Pork Belly. YouTube algorithm was continually serving me various channels that had Pork Belly as the protein of choice andfocus. Google suggested that I try 101 to satisfy the ever increasing craving. 101 didn't disappoint. The braised Pork Bellywas more than I had imagined of how it would taste. It was soft and tender, yet not greasy. The flesh had a slight crunch whilethe fat was flavorful with the natural flavors of the Pork coming through. The braised pig feet was savory and full of flavorwith its soft skin and collagen. The soy sauce and light seasoning added a savory boost to the meat. The Pork Belly sandwich???? bun was airy and light. It provided the perfect envelope to fill the meat and toppings into. Definitely recommend 101Taiwanese to those who wish to take a slightly different experience in enjoying tradional Taiwanese cuisine. Read more

Ordered Wontons in Chili Oil, Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs, Beef Wrapped Pancake and a Taro Boba Tea. The Wontons in Chili Oil and... Sour Pork Ribs came almost immediately so I don't think they were cooked to order. The Wontons in Chili Oil we're not hot in themiddle so that was a little disappointing but they were still good tasting and the chili oil was tasty although not hot/spicy.The Sour Pork Ribs came with broccoli and were very tasty! The Beef Wrapped Pancake took a bit longer than the rest of thedishes to come out but it was well worth it. It was hot out of the kitchen and delicious! One of my favorites!
