We made a reservation and made a note that it is Birthday. Upon walking in we were greeted by host who sat us at the table... immediately. Hostess brought menus and bread. First impression: bread was so unappealing, tastes raw and tastes as cold: starterplates were glass and bread plates were ceramic. I never saw glass plates in upscale restaurant. It looks like bought at 99centstore. Waitress approached and took drink order. Service was non existent, we had food delivery and plate pickup but notservice. Waitress asked how is it only once. We were celebrating birthday and I mentioned in my reservation, my companionmentioned to the waitress. She absolutely ignored it and just dropped off dessert and moved away as fastest as possible. I wasscanning a room and this waitress was providing same food delivery not service to every table around. No manager or hostess everstopped at any table in our area. Food was good. I was looking forward to visiting you but honestly not sure if wanna recommendor get back. I understand it is hard to find servers but how about manager, anyone. Acknowledgment would be nice and or birthdaycandle. We came to the restaurant to celebrate, we ended up just having food drop off at the table. Read more

Went for our 5 year anniversary. It was a lovely and romantic evening, plus my wife appreciated everything about the place.... Something about the details of the restaurant were very effective at enhancing the experience. Even the name and the way it ispronounced just, sort of, feels good! The drinks were great (orange and cinnamon infused whiskey in an old fashioned? Yesplease!) And the food was fantastic. My duck dish had a great medley of flavors that were individually delicious but absolutelyincredible when all 5 items were stacked onto one fork. The complements of the flavors was impressive Read more

Cozy French restaurant with high quality menu options that won't break your bank. Great indoor atmosphere and some outdoor table... options. The staff didn't rush us, and only once did we feel like we were waiting a bit long for the dessert. Great option foran elevated date night or a celebratory meal. Read more

We've eaten here a few times over the years, but no more. We did not have a comfortable or enjoyable dining experience on this... recent Saturday night. 1.) Our party of four was seated in the auxiliary room also occupied by an extremely loud table of eightnon-stop laughing and shouting middle-aged gentry. The restaurant is known to be loud but this was intolerable. Evil-eyes fromall the other diners did nothing. A young lady even went and spoke directly to them. I politely asked the staff to dosomething, and their solution was to remain silent and move everyone but the screamers into the regular dining room. At leastour table was between courses. 2.) Both seafood entrées were overcooked, the halibut nearly inedible. The hanger steak waspassable, but I must say my duck breast was outstanding. Mine was clearly the last one prepared while my wife's halibut satsomewhere cooking itself into cardboard, much like Icelandic dried fish. 3.) The wine list was good with a decent amount ofBurgundy and Bordeaux wines. Ours was given an opportunity to breathe. Finally, for the high-end French restaurant with cachetthat Beaujolais Bistro purports itself to be, there is a serious lack of ambiance, a slightly hectic feel, a limited amount ofFrench styled menu items, and bring on the noise! This was our first visit. Our server was phenomenal and very helpful. The food was spot on. The owner served our dessert but... didn't say much. I noticed a table with a very loud presence and everyone (server, owner) was doting over them. Guess that's whathappens when you got connections. The establishment is very small and I believe that's why you need reservations. Read more
