The best Mexican food around! My husband is from San Diego and we vacation there every year and this best part is the food. My first time... I ordered a combo... Chicken enchilada and taco, which came with beans and rice. The chicken is cubed... And... somewhere in my head I think it should be shredded, so I think that might be why it didn't appeal as much as I had hoped. Don'tget me wrong it was good but not great. However... The chicken taco was awesome! I attribute that to the wonderfully crunchy,freshly made shell. The taco came loaded with chicken, lettuce, and cheese, to which I added some of the salsa from their salsabar. Speaking of which, the salsa bar is a fantastic idea! The beans were refried, as to be expected. Skip the rice - verydry. Interior of store was decorated nicely, cheerfully. The staff friendly and responsive. Next time I'll try thespecials because they are very reasonably priced, and I think that might be their forte! Also I'll go for the beef... Inoticed on their menu that some of their beef selections come with shredded beef. That would be my recommendation-- beef tacos! Along with chips and the salsa bar. Read more

Great food and great service!! Fair price for authentic Mexican food. Nothing compared to Taco Bell. Burritos are massive and... the fish tacos (which are the Thursday special) are to die for! Definitely will be coming back! Read more
