Lovely atmosphere. Some staff pretty abrupt, I was bumped into a couple of times. Food taste was good, but not very... authentically Indian. Pricey, but not bad. We had Chicken Tikka Marsala and a Lamb dish. Read more

Loved this team since their original restaurant. Love that they are so community minded; fundraisers, poetry club, donations... etc. Hosting rehearsal dinner for upcoming wedding, this from my kids: “Shawanthi has been amazing and sent me a list of allspice and dairy levels of the dishes…I'm leaving the rack of lamb as they my favorite and they're perfect!!” Read more

The food is quite good, granted. I live in a major city in the northeast, and have access to superb Indian restaurants, but to... give Cinnamon it's due the food is quite good. The problem is the noise level. I've eaten at restaurants all around the worldfor 50 years, and Cinnamon is in the top five for most loud. I had to literally shout to be heard by my companion sitting acrossthe table. And everyone in our section of the restaurant was doing the same, in increasing magnitude to be heard. Luckily therewas no recorded music being played on top of all that! Why the noise? Every surface was flat and reflected sound, the the soundricocheting around in increasing magnitude. There were no carpets on the floor, or pictures or tapestries on the wall, oracoustic tiles on the ceiling; simple and inexpensive remedies to deaden sound. In the end left my ears were left ringing, nojoke! It was not a pleasant dining experience. It's hard for me to fathom my management hasn't addressed this issue, especiallybecause it's inexpensive to do so. Quiet conversation at Cinnamon? Impossible. Read more

The best Indian food, I've ever had! The Bagara Baigan, (Indian eggplant), with fantastic gravy sauce, had a spicy sour note.... Malai Kofta ( dumplings with a filling of cheese & ground veg.), in a delicious cashew, almond cream sauce. Our 3rd entre,Sabzi Bhaji, (large bowl of steamed veg. in a delicate vegan curry sauce. Vegan mango salad, veg samosa (2) with tamarind sauce, & hot pickle for appetizers. Sides of goat cheese naan bread, chapati bread (vegan), with 3 kinds of rice. Enjoyed the hot Chaitea, & cucumber Raita (mild thin yogurt sauce) to top entrees. Excellent friendly service by All. Reservations advised. Enjoy** Read more
