For special occasions this is the place to go!!! The whole experience was perfect. From reservation to final bill was spot on!.... Was a farewell dinner for my stepson and girlfriend who were moving to Oregon. When they all came out to sing " happy trails toyou" OMG it was perfect even though there no dry eyes by anyone at the table,it was best experience! Highly recommend!!!!! Read more
Family owned for generations. A warm and friendly ambiance. Small town hospitality and welcoming, professional staff. Broad... selection of food and drink with pricing comparable to other restaurants which satisfy my expectations. We arrived at 6:06 for our 6:15 reservation, and we were promptly seated, we were not seated in the main dining room as... requested, but rather a side room that had the ambiance of a banquet hall including a worn torn room divider. Only one otherparty was ever seated back there the entire time we were there. The relish, drink orders, salad and soup service was good. Thendespite being served by two waitresses, we were a party of twelve by the way, we did not get our meal until 8:00 pm. The waitstaff must have known there was a problem because they were out of our area and never checked with us once in 40 minutes. No oneever asked if we wanted a second drink etc. When we did see them, they brought complimentary popovers, but by then none of uswere even hungry. The food was good when it finally came, but did not make up for the extremely poor service. The bill wasalmost $500 and we left 20% for the wait staff despite the bad service. So we dropped nearly $600 for that kind of treatment. Wewere in the area for vacation, so our only guess for the poor treatment is they were more concerned with their regulars. Shameon you Lehmans. Excellent dining !! Servers Heidi ( bartender ) Paula ( waitress ) are the ones we most are served by and always a pleasure.... Autumn is so much fun makes every time a wonderful experience. The soup was full of flavor, not salty, topped with a... golden Ai Gratin cheese, the French bread was warm and had a nice crisp crust too.
