I ordered here a shawarma in general, the sandwich was delicious, but it had a strange taste. They have to take into account... the cleanliness of the restaurant and tables. In general, shawarma is normal, but there are much better shawarma restaurants inthe Dallas area. I think they have sweets like baklava and soft drinks. There are places to eat. I really liked the decorwith different phrases written on it. Give it a try if you're around Read more

Visited summer 2022 I have visited Abu Omar?s food trucks and they are quite good but the restaurant not so much. I ordered the... chicken Arabi combo. The girl working the cash register was a bit rude and literally was on her phone as she was taking myorder. She also gave me a weird look when I asked her how long it would take for the food to come out. Now to the food. I was abit surprised by the portion size as the food trucks have larger sizes. The restaurant doesn?t give as much for how much it?spriced. I would definitely say it is overpriced. I also paid for an extra sauce I never got in my to go bag, was a littledisappointed with that to. The food itself is pretty good. It?s not the best Arabi in Dallas but I?ve had worse. I think theyhave a few things to work on as a restaurant, i forgot to mention how unkept and musty the restaurant itself is. I dared to gowash my hands and was disgusted by the condition of the bathroom and the fact they didn?t have a proper lock on the door. Ifthey can fix the environment of the inside, train staff to have better and more welcoming attitudes the food can shine better. However good food can?t compensate for bad service or a unclean restaurant. We got their family platter it included 4 portion each having 3 skewers. Lamb was awesome tender and juicy and still had good... fat on it. They used good quality rice and cooked very soft and not dry. Read more

Actually surprise of how good the food was. Second visit, first day I had the beef kabob over rice. This time I had the... quesadilla and instead of fry I substituted for the rice. Baklava was fire as well. Read more

Firstly.. When you walk in, the girl at the counter had slight attitude, and would whisper to the point we couldn?t hear her.... When we would as her to repeat herself, she?d act like we were annoying. She wasn?t big on answering questions.. it was ourfirst time. We didn?t know how they did their food besides the few pictures they have up. Second, this may not be a problem fory?all? but I HATE not having a fountain drink choice, or at least free endless water. You can only purchase coke cans and waterbottles. They have a fountain machine, but the lady at the counter said they don?t do it any longer because it?s broken. Third. The food. My Gyro sandwich with fries wasn?t bad at all. The fries were crisp and flavorful. The sandwich was perfect. However,my s/o?s food was incorrect and had way too much sauce. He had the Beef Shawarma over rice. They didn?t include the pickleslike in the picture, and again, the sauce was globbed on there instead of drizzled. The salad that was included in it wassmaller than the picture and had no dressing, even on the side. However, the hummus and bread is pretty good, and you get a goodserving portion, which is great since you pay $4. Fourth. No one called out our order. The guy came and found us like weweren?t listening and seemed a bit annoyed. May come back later for one more chance, may not. We have no idea yet. Hoping toupdate this review one day. Read more
