We first visited this place for lunch only to find out they only have BBQ skewers during dinner. So we visited again a few... months later for dinner. They seem to be very popular since there was already a line at the door when they first opened fordinner at 5 PM. We didn?t make any reservations and neither did those groups ahead of us but they were cool with it and justmade sure we should finish in 90 minutes. The food was pretty good and we loved those BBQ lamb skewers. We also loved the BBQclams. Service was decent too and we were pretty happy overall. Read more
Would return for the spicy soup and the dumpling they were so good. The spicy soup was more fragrant than actual heat which I... really liked and the noodles tasted very fresh had a nice bouncy texture to it. Also the lamb in the soup was so soft andtender. The dumplings had the perfect amount of liquid inside as well. The ambiance was nice too, very clean and wide open. Went there with a group of 10 people, celebrating a work event. Huge menu to choose from and many unique animal parts you would... normally would not see often, but since I am vegetarian I didn't try them. Delicious tofu anyone? I was skeptical about the reviews being higher than what they deserve, turns out I was right. The vibe was great, service was ok... for Chinese standard, but the food is only average at best. I have tried other Northern Chinese BBQ before, and unfortunatelythose were better than Tasty. If you are looking for the experience, sure, it is a good place for that, but if you are lookingfor good food, you may be disappointed. They use way too much seasoning to make up the lack of time in the BBQ, I wouldn?t besurprised if they precooked the meat before they put on the BBQ for a very short period of time. Fun place that makes you think you stepped into HK. The food was not as bad as I heard. The skewers were a must! Very small... portion but the best tasting. Drinks were cool, jumbo scallops were the favorite! Read more
