Sharper Palate catered a cocktail and buffet dinner for an event at the Valentine and they were fantastic! They picked up the... phone every time I called, they were immediately responsive, they put together an excellent menu, and the staff were polite andpleasant all around. It was a bit of a last minute request because another local caterer we were working with was not callingus back to set a menu. Sharper Palate graciously took on the job and blew us away with food and service at a better price pointas well. Can't say enough great things. Definitely my go-to from now on. Read more
A Sharper Palate was a superb vendor from start to finish. Working with Kristen to create our menu was an absolute delight. She... was kind, and extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I got exactly what we wanted. I mentioned how Iloved bread and Pepsi, and they made sure that I had an extra roll on my plate during the dinner and a glass of Pepsi. My wifementioned her love of brownies and blondies. Kristen made sure that not only we were presented with both brownies and blondies,but also recommended a cream cheese brownie their partner company makes. My wife loved those brownies, and Kristen worked withtheir partner company to get those cream cheese brownies for our special day. Those little touches made our hearts so happy! I have never felt compelled to write a review for anything before, but feel an urge to yell from the top of a mountain about our... amazing experience with Leslie and her team at A Sharper Palate! We cannot thank Leslie enough for being such an integral partof our wedding. Due to unexpected issues with our original reception site, we were quite late to the game and only reached outto Leslie a mere four weeks before the wedding (Nov 2021, Richmond VA)). She was unfazed and went into action mode. She wasproactive, decisive, and an excellent communicator. We worked virtually across different states, but she went well above andbeyond her role in countless ways. She not only helped us craft a perfect menu but was instrumental in helping us navigate allrentals on an extremely short timeline. Quite simply, there was nothing that we had to worry about on the day of the wedding ?everything went perfectly without the slightest hiccup. We felt so supported by Leslie and were grateful to be able to relaxwith our guests; we have nothing but positive memories of our day. Her professionalism, attention to details that never wouldhave occurred to us, and overall communication were so incredible, and we will be forever indebted. A Sharper Palate catered our Rehearsal Dinner last night at Fairview Farms and did a spectacular job! Carter was wonderful to... work with and this was by far the easiest event I?ve ever managed. Friendly, professional and so nice, Carter went above andbeyond and I just got to sit back and enjoy a ton of praise for barely lifting a finger. Whenever I saw any of them we would crack jokes like we?ve known each other for years. The day after thewedding, I received so many texts asking who catered because it was ?the best food they have ever had at a wedding!!?
