Had only come here to have the black bean corn cakes over the years once in a while which are great. Finally got a little crazy... and tried something new, the oyster po boy. This sandwich was as good as any po boy I've had in New Orleans! Was pleasantlysurprised, the tots were perfectly crispy too and washed it down with a tasty root beer. Friend I came with got a burger whichlooked delicious and cooked medium rare so I was a bit jealous even though my sandwich was great. Will have to come back for aburger next time. Server was friendly and food came out fast! Read more

Can?t believe I almost missed this place. It was my very last stop in Richmond as we were leaving town and immediately jumped... into my list of favorite brunch spots here. It?s a diner feel, but much better than an ordinary diner. They usually have somespecials (like the tacos with sunny side up eggs) that are definitely worth trying in addition to all the regular items. Staffwas fantastic too. Read more

Always a favorite place. It was raining but we were quite comfortable on the covered patio. I had a larmb gyro & fries. My... friend had the cold plate with Tuna salad, potato salad & cole slaw. Both were delicious & we each took some home for later. Read more

Super fresh. Great place to eat. I'm not a huge fan of breakfast or brunch as a general rule, but the food here was the... exception. Really great food all around. Read more

My son and I stopped by Dot's as I was visiting this particular part of Richmond and this was the closest restaurant to me. I... had no idea Dot's was featured on the food network a while back but was pleasantly surprised. This locale has an interestingstory and I encourage anyone visiting to read up on it before or while dining. Loved the older WW2 era photos! Our waitress(Danielle) was very pleasant. As this was my first time here, I asked her for a burger recommendation (they all sounded good). She suggested the Ultimate burger while my son got The Club. The food took about 15-20 minutes as there were several seatedcustomers ahead of us. When the food arrived, the burger looked good but the fries (potato chunks) were overcooked. The burger(smash burger, yum,) was good, cooked as I asked. My son's club look really good to which commented after eating all of it thatit had a good flavor. I mentioned to our waitress about the fries to which she apologized, stating she would notify thekitchen All in all, I feel like Dot's is a five-star location because of the history and TV publicity but I was disappointed bythe fries (potato chunks). The kitchen allowing that food to be served to a customer was concerning. Considering how everythingelse was good, I will definitely return another and recommend to friends. Read more
