Definitely a Northside gem. Nice menu and cocktail selection. Crab cakes were great but sides were unimpressive. I like the... atmosphere and they have a decent outdoor seating area. Would definitely recommend and not much can beat it in this area. This chicken salad was great with the homemade hot sauce on the side. Read more
Controversial review: I love Hobnob. I love the Lakeside Neighborhood and I?ve been frequenting this beloved restaurant for... years. Love the food, great drinks, very inviting setting, plenty of parking. As of September 2022, we had dinner one eveningand the amount of flies was just ridiculous. It felt like us trying to eat faster than the flies could sit on our food. It wasquite frustrating. I don?t want anybody to not consider this place for a pleasant dinner, but to the owners: c?mon guys! Eventhe servers were apologizing for the flies stating that there was nothing they could do? it?s 2022!!! Everything has beeninvented and with a little initiative, you may find a solution to this very disappointing problem. We headed to Hobnob on a Friday for dinner. The place is pretty cool, service was solid and overall food was great. We had the... deviled ham and pimento cheese, mushroom rigatoni, fried chicken sandwich and brie and tomato sandwich. The fried chicken wasawesome, super flavorful and slaw is great. We love small local restaurants and Hobnob didn't disappoint, the food was excellent and the staff were awesome. It didn't... matter who your waitress was because they all seemed to help each other out. The inside is quaint but they do have some coveredoutdoor seating. On weekends I would definitely make reservations because they get busy. Read more

I?d give Hobnob a 4.5 if I could! I was thrilled to try this place given it?s tucked into our Lakeside neighborhood, and it did... not disappoint. They rotate their menu seasonally, which means I will be coming back to try more. The space is small, but theyexpand seating onto two tiny patios (one patio is covered). I was wowed by their pumpkin soup (spicy!!) which paired beautifullywith the bright and sweet poached pear salad. We gave the butternut squash lasagna a try, but its delicate flavor was blanketedby a red sauce that did not do it justice. Overall I was very pleased and quite happy to have this so close to us.
