Awesome food, awesome pricing! You even smell like the food when you leave- all of the aromas!\n\nWith a new and bustling place... to eat, I recommend allowing 30mins to an hour to actually get a seat. We went in on a Sunday at 1PM, and it took us 30 mins,for reference.\n\nI went here with my family and we did the hot pot + bbq option. Mind you, you are allowed to either do one orthe other. With the hot pot option, you can select up to 5 different items for it, and maybe 3 more items for the bbq.Personally, the bbq option is better. Something about the charcoal taste is better than just boiling the food.\n\nNonetheless,all of the food turned out great! And they have a sauce bar where you can grab a bunch of different sides and sauces and bringto your table. Our table ordered way more than what we should, we came in during lunch and that turned out to be the only mealfor the day!\n\nThe pricing was surprisingly lower than I thought, about $39 for the hot pot + bbq!\n\nI would definitely visitanother time! Went to HotPot 757 last night for the first time. If you don?t mind the wait (1.5 hr for me ????) then add this too your list.... I?ve been to a couple of hot pot places in new York and Chicago and it?s comparable and nice to have as an option in rva now!This one is buffet style versus kinda ordering a la carte. Individual pots instead of the one communal pot. Also an option to doKorean bbq (cooked in center of table) or do both (hot pot and bbq) for an up charge.\n\nPretty decent selection of things forhot pot. Hot pot base (Chinese herbal) was supper yummy but I definitely added a ton of chili oil! Salad bar had a greatassortment of dipping sauces and these cucumbers that I could not stop eating.. seriously!\n\nStaff was super attentive and atlarge was a pretty cool vibe.\n\nA fight broke out amongst two employees who were escorted out and police called but other thanthe brief entertainment dinner was great! Party of 4 for lunch at 12:30. They asked us to wait 10 minutes for the server to catch up. That gave us time to study the... menu. Service was great and attentive. A manager came around and asked how our experience was. Much appreciated.\n\nOne Ketoperson with shellfish allergies and one lowish carb person. No problem eating keto and no cross contamination with shellfish atthe table. Keto required us to test the sauces. But there were lots of choices. Probably could have asked the server aboutsugar.\n\nMost of the meat was frozen so allow for some extra time to cook. Brisket was not frozen. Two of us had the mushroombase soup which was basic and two had the Szechuan base soup. Szechuan was reported to be spicy with numbing peppers. I likedthe Black Pig Pork and the Beef Belly. Everyone loved the black fungus (wood ear mushrooms).\n\nWhen we left 70% of the tableswere in use and many had at least one asian at the table. Many people eating Korean BBQ.\n\nWe will be back and next time wewill try the Korean BBQ.\n\nBTW - We visited for lunch because reviews here said that dinner waits might be long.\n\nSo glad tohave Hot Pot in Richmond.
