This the best burger spot in the Richmond area! Fresh cooked with real ingredients.. We ate for three cost was around 45$.. I... enjoyed the Big Burger with cheese and added bacon, I wanted egg, however, it is not available in the afternoon and Mac n'Cheese Bites as my side with a mountain dew.. The Bites were a little empty but were average taste, wont order them againthough.. My husband had the Triple Burger with bacon, they did forget the jalapeños, however, it was so good he forgot he evenordered them till after it was consumed lol with a side of fries and a Pepsi.. My child had the Chicken Tenders with a side ofDeep Fried Pickles and a water with honey mustard, It was average.. The food tastes good, but you'd better like meat, cheese, and fried stuff. Basically a heart attack on a bun, but I guess that's... what people go there for. The one real negative is that there was a fly trap hanging by the picnic tables that was overflowingwith dead flies and it smelled so incredibly foul, it made it hard to enjoy the food. Pretty gross. I love this place! My daughter loves this place! She loves their burgers and lemonade and I'm a huge fan of their bologna... burger. Their fries could use some salt after coming out of the fryer but I imagine they leave them unseasoned that way thecustomer could do as the please with them. While I love this place I get my burgers with the works. But if you like plainpatties or a ketchup only type deal be prepared for a relatively bland pattie. If the patties and fries were more seasoned Iwould have given the last star. But hell this place has been open for years, the food is always right, the owners/ crew havealways been kind so I think with all that in mind you can ignore a semi small thing like seasoning when the overall quality isstill tremendous. These burgers look like they've been pounded! How do they squish them down so much? Even if the the buns were flopped on top,... why would it be flattened to death? The fries are soggy and have no flavor. Reminds me of lunch lady fries from the schoolcafeteria except these weren't even krinkled. No salt on them whatsoever. No salt packets in the bag. The meat wasn't bad andthe inside bun is toasted for a nice crunch, but for $5.30 on 1 smashed cheeseburger and $8.30 for a double, there should havebeen more! Fries are NOT included, but flies are. They kept buzzing in and out of the window. The place wasn't crowded. Onlyone guy was waiting for his order while the staff kept whispering to each other. Roys when i was a kid was my favorite. But now it is a different story. The new folks are riding on the nostalgia of the name... for locals. I moved away but recently came to work in richmond and my coworker wanted to go Twice in the past couple of weeks.The first time was "ok" and didnt think much of it. Although my coworker had his burger made completely wrong (how hard is justmustard onion and ketchup). The second time we decided to get drinks (fountain) with fries/onion rings. Again, coworkers burgermade wrong but this time the fryer oil on the fries and rings tasted absolutely old and our Dr. Peppers tasted greasy beforeeven eating *HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN*.
