I usually enjoy my time here and have been here multiple times. The food is good but it seems like the waitresses are... overwhelmed and highly inexperienced. The other day they "ran out of rice" and gave us a gift card. I was ok with that anddecided to take my mother and grandmother out for lunch. Food took entirely too long compared to what it was before. Tables aresticky. I'm just disappointed of how far it was and what it is now. Food is great here but service is not up to par. Read more
Lovely, quiet atmosphere. Yummy food and its NOT just sushi. We don't eat fish, but love Japanese food. This is a great find!!
I have been to several sushi ???? places around Richmond, and Sushi Box is THE BEST! Their rolls are a great size and they don?t... skimp you out. This place does not smell fishy at all like other places. It?s always super clean. The servers are friendly andoften remember you and your favorite orders when you become a regular. You can?t beat their lunch specials either! Fav rolls arethe energy roll and spicy crunch roll. For under $9 you can get soup, salad and 2 rolls. Their sushi is so high quantity andtasty. It?s my favorite and I can?t recommend this cute, clean, and delicious restaurant more. Whenever I take friends here theyalways leave with Sushi Box being their new fav sushi place in town! Read more
The sushi was horrible. I ordered shrimp tempura and the shrimp was not cooked. I don?t believe it was shrimp, but a shrimp... substitute. It was plain and didn?t have avocados or cucumbers or eel sauce. When I ordered from here, my order was completely trashed. It looked as if a raccoon went through it while it was being... delivered. The sauce was everywhere. But, the food was delicious. I loved every single bite of it. If you want some food here,go to the restaurant yourself. :) Read more
