Never so amazed! I love love love this place. Beyond wonderful customer service experience. Couldn't sing their praises enough... or more emphatically. So many people are shopping here. On the expensive side of the spectrum, but you actually get what you payfor. No disappointment here at all. We spent a cool $100, but it was totally worth it! Read more
I found the good food, it's here (always was) at Ukrop's. 1st time in, I was taken by the airy, open beauty. It felt like... being in church and soon I saw the plaque honoring that very fact: 3 churches lived in that building previously and theatmosphere of peace and goodness still pervades. The employees seemed happy and were helpful too. The food? Oh my - tastes I'dbeen missing. I got, with wonderful assistance, collards, corn pudding, mashed potatoes and a roll. I felt like my childhood came back to life as I loved going to Ukrops as a kid. I went a lil overboard but it was totally worth... every penny! I will definitely be back when I feel like gaining an extra lbs or 2. Haha. I?m so glad my girlfriend and I decidedto come here for some delicious fried chicken and not Publix. (Sorry Publix. Great fried chicken! Took the family here for a nice meal on Father?s Day weekend. Not much more than the cost of fast food but... several levels of quality above. The bakery items are great too. So happy to find this place. Clean, well lit, plenty ofparking. The workers weren?t overly talkative but seemed pretty efficient. The story of the Ukrops family is worth reading. They are committed to freshness and it shows. Took a few minutes to get meals but we ordered food for seven of us so all in all,we would definitely recommend Ukrops if you?re in the area. Read more
