I stumbled upon Yoshi Sushi while shopping in the Willow Lawn shopping center. I googled the menu before entering and was... pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. Traditional sushi roll price points start at $4.5. They also served a variety ofreasonably priced entrees. I spent about $30 for 2 people (split between myself and my 9 year old son). I ordered one entree, 3sushi rolls, and 2 salads. The staff was extremely pleasant and the customer service was stellar. I ordered my food to go andwas quoted about 20 minutes for my wait. After 5 minutes, someone went to check on my order and it came out about 5 minutesafter that. The restaurant was packed, but the kitchen was speedy. While I waited, I learned from the host/cashier that the oldmanagement stayed on as a merger so their menu also offers items from the former restaurant, King Crab. They kept the formerdecor, including the interior King Crag signage. To my surprise, the seafood boils and a la cart items were also very reasonablypriced. The icing on the cake was getting home and discovering that I'd received a full order of seaweed salad!!! They did notuse cucumbers underneath the seaweed to make it appear as if there were more. A+++ I will be frequenting this establishment andI look forward to the dine in experience in the near future. Read more

This place is great. The quality of the sushi is much better than other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants I have been to. The... fish is fresh and tasty and they give you fairly big pieces. The service has also been excellent and very fast both times I'vevisited so far. This is my new go-to sushi restaurant in Richmond. Read more

Our server was friendly. We were a party of four and seated quickly as it was not busy. One of our party did not like sushi and... placed an order from the lunch menu of some rice and spring rolls and the rest of us ordered all you can eat sushi. The managercame to our table and informed us that if anyone orders all you can eat at your table that everyone will be charged for all youcan eat. It was not crowded at all and I understand they don?t want plate sharing. So we paid for three to eat sushi and gotfood to go since they would not serve our fourth person. First and last time here. Price was good for the all you can eat sushi. Selection was decent. Sushi was decent. It was busy so the one guy who was filling... all the orders was rushing all over. He was very good and super nice but I think the kitchen was a bit slow filling ordersduring the lunch rush. It was a good thing that I ordered the perfect amount the first time because I was there an hour and if Ihad wanted more, it would have been a very long lunch. I ordered hot tea and was given Lipton black tea. I was a little confusedsince it is a sushi bar. Oolong would have been acceptable but I was hoping for some sushi bar style green tea. Definitely notLipton. It was better than some all you can eat sushi but not as good as several places in other cities. Definitely not as goodas a dedicated sushi bar with choice cuts. Read more

The server was nice but the food was not worth the money. I ordered the hibachi beef that came with rice and vegetables. The... picture is the second order, which I told them to leave out the rice. The meat was barley warm and the veggies were cold. Thepieces of meat were tiny. See the comparison to the penny on the side of the plate. Read more
