There is so much to love about this location of Chako! The restaurant was large & spacious, very clean & comfortable! We ordered... dinner off of the premium menu & I would highly recommend doing so. The stand outs for meat options were the Cajun Chicken &Boneless Ribs for sure ???? I love ordering whatever drink special is available, so I opted for the 1L Fruit Tea - GET IT! Itwas absolutely delicious & stepped up my experience! ????????????I wasn’t expecting there to be sushi options, but I waspleasantly surprised at the variety & quality! ???? Great service. Great atmosphere. We really wanted this place to be great. As a Korean Canadian trust me when I say the Kimchi is... not authentic. Not even close. Why is it so sweet? All the meat had red chili peppers which was a problem for the kids. Meatquality was also subpar. Gyubee or daldongnae nail that in spades. Chako.. Meat quality needs big improvement. Rice.. Anotherhuge miss. No lettuce? Offering sushi is a good move.. But lacks a lot of choices. Overall... Subpar quality meats. Salty or toosweet marinades. Bad Kimchi. Lacks variety of choices.. Someone said ice cream was the only highlight.. Yes I concur. Mostbad reviews were from months ago.. Prior to renovation. I wondered why.. Until I was told of a promo where if we show a Googlereview we get a discount (or some perk). I didn't write one until I got home to do a proper review... Rather than a "promoted"review. I sincerely hope the owner(s) do see these reviews and take note. Chako.. Overall was a miss. I wished them to begreat. But came out disappointed. One last thing. Tip was included.. But they ask for tip again via the Machine. Anothermiss... . Gyubee and others don't even give you that option to add more tip. Price? Family of 4.. We haven’t been to chako for years and decided to come here for a casual Friday night dinner. After their new renovation, the... dining room are mostly booths, the quality of the food are much better than before, we don’t smell like been barbecued is aplus. They have new items on the menu now, but I’m not a big fan of their beef finger meat and mussel cocktail. However, beefshort ribs, lamb and flame tiger rolls are must try.
