Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem this evening. We passed by millions times on Yonge street and just noticed this ribs &... chicken place. Definitely one of my top 3 BBQ places in Toronto. Plenty parking in this small plaza. Bright and clean. Cutedecors. Excellent customer service. The server -Nick was very courteous and attentive. We tried their whole back Pork Ribs, PullPork Sandwich, BBQ Chicken, Truffle Pretzel and Poutine. We were not disappointed. Food served quick and warm. The ribs were sojuicy and tender and literally were falling off the bone. The sandwich was also delicious. My daughter loved their trufflepretzel and poutine. Food was fantastic, absolutely no complaints about the food. Looked like the server was also the cook, but service was not slow.... There was only 1 other table occupied while we were there, and 1 take out customer. The only complaint is about the music. Mywife and I are definitely not the type of customers the music was meant for. Rap/hip hop full of foul language. We ate and gotout quickly. Won't be going back because of the atmosphere. The Ribs were the best we?ve ever had. They fell off the bones and were excellent. The service provided by Sandor was awesome.... He was very polite, knowledgeable and was there to make sure everything was to our liking. When you go, you have to try theMacaroni and Cheese. The topping on it is amazing and so tasty. I used to love this place for wings, a little pricey but worth the treat once in awhile. My last interaction with them left me... shocked. I ordered 50 wings, which is roughly $85 so it was not a small amount. They all came out like in the picture, wayovercooked. The chicken was not only dry but almost all of them were overcooked to the point that they were mostly hardened. Youcan tell from the picture how badly they were made. I called and told them they burnt my wings, and I was told I would get acall back from the owner. I waited almost a week before posting this review, hoping the owner would honour his word and try toremediate the situation. The owner didn't bother calling me back, he clearly doesn't care about customer service. Never goingback here again. Read more
