We just moved back this way after 15 years, our first visit, came for fish and chips. I had the cod, wasn’t bad, my husband... had the halibut, much better, just a bit overcooked (dry). The coleslaw wasn’t good at all, may skip trying the tacos. Myhusband loved the clam chowder, for me it was too thick and not enough clams, reminded me of store bought Bear Creek potatosoup. To sit down, you eat in the pub, most likely this would be a to-go establishment for us. One thing I regret, was tippingin advance at 18%; I always pick the lower option when having to do in advance; never fails, they don’t have to work for it.Your things come in to go containers in a bag you have to disassemble, quickly dropped off and gone, not even a smile.Whenhaving to get up and ask a question at the bar, the woman was too concerned with her conversation, matter of fact all you heardin the place, but was made pretty obvious you were interrupting. Anyway, I usually tip 10% for to-go orders, pretty sure you canchange to a custom option, would be the extent of what I’d do, although, had I known, I wouldn’t have tipped at all. Theguys in the fish market were very nice, we will definitely come back to give dinner supplies a try… Read more

The food was great! I ordered the Cod fish and chips and they did not disappoint! The only reason I gave them four stars out of... five was because the cleanliness left something to be desired. There was dried ketchup all over our table and we had to ask tohave it cleaned. That aside however, the experience was great! Read more

Got the Halibut fish and chips (aka house special). With tax it's a little over $18+tips. Fish was good, bit on the dry side.... Shoe string fries were good too. Expected a bit more wow factor given all the reviews but overall, it's a solid fish and chips. As everyone noted, tartar sauce was good. Areas of improvement: - A bit more slaw would be nice, it's about 3-4 fork bites -Fork could be sturdier.. Either the fish was really dry and tough or that fork was really flimsy. Read more

An hour wait for my food order but it was def worth the long wait. Best halibut and chips I’ve ever eaten and I didn’t have... to drive to the coast. I love their breading and how it’s not beer battered. Fries was perfect—crunchy, and not greasy.Great prices for their seafood options. Highly recommend PNW Best Fish Co to anyone looking for quality. Read more

Let me start by saying I have always loved this place for at least 15 years, maybe 20. Best halibut anywhere and while some... think their fries are too thin, they are crispy and really good. Service is always great for me, even when busy. But the recentinflation has impacted my value vs. quality vs. experience to the point where I probably won't return for a long while. My'healthier' go-to is always the halibut tacos but the recent price spike makes them $7 each w/o fries. One taco had two small(quarter sized) pieces of halibut and the other had three (more normal). They were stuffed with cole slaw/cabbage, etc. but at$7 each for essentially street tacos, I can't have the same experience and feel good about the value. The halibut and chipsprices soared as well. I know it's not their fault and I still love this place and their friendly service but I'm priced out.Their store is also the best I've found for shellfish, fish, etc. as well. Prices have skyrocketed there too. Sad for therestaurants and consumers due to inflation. Read more
