Waited nearly an hour after I ordered and they hadn't even started my food. Other people came in, ordered, and got their food... before I got tired of waiting and left. Read more
I hate coming to this restaurant because it's always super dirty, very packed and the wait staff is hostile and rude. But today... was the final straw. I stopped by this Waffle House and ordered $35 dollars in food. The server seemed impatient from the start.I was so thirsty when I ordered that I asked for a cup of water. The server motioned to a sign that said on carry out ordersthere is a $1.00 Charge for a cup of water or ice. This is already on top of the 10% charge on carry out orders. On top of thisthe lady who took the order decided to completely ignore me and walk around me and she went outside to engage in a conversationwith a man standing out there. She never even said excuse me. She just abruptly quit the conversation. I had already beenthinking about bringing Tupperware inside there and placing my order for in-house and simply transferring it to the Tupperwarewhen I received it to avoid the charge. But after today I won't be returning at all. Why refuse me a cup of water when I'vespent $35? And I always tip the agents. Even on to go orders. I always tip at least $5.00 on every visit. Even when my meal isonly $12 or $13. When I realized the fee was only on to go orders I decided to leave. I asked for my card back and the serverloudly trashed me as I left out the building. She was very irate and so was I and I did not care. What horrid service. From nowon I will prepare all of my breakfast at home. I won't spend another dime at waffle house. I left in the middle of my orderbeing prepared and they will have to eat that $35 dollar sale loss. Its poetic justice. Read more
